Learning the laws through technology
In this activity children understand their rights in the modern and engaging way. The children organized this to have awareness about the children’s rights in Pakistan, using artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT as learning source. Our volunteers explained that children rights are essential for assuring a safe, healthy and dignified childhood.
Exploring child labour laws and children’s rights using AI
During the session, children were guided to use AI and ChatGPT to ask questions and learn about different children’s rights in Pakistan. The rights included child labour laws, the right to education, protection from abuse and exploitation, health and safety, and the right to express opinions. Children learned that the law protect them from hazardous work, ensures freedom and compulsory education, and promotes a safe environment for growth and development. Using AI made the session interactive and encouraged curiosity.
Empowering children with knowledge, rights and digital skills
This activity helped children gain a broader understanding of their rights and responsibilities. By combining awareness of child labour laws with other fundamental children’s rights, and by using AI tools like ChatGPT, children became more informed, confident, and digitally aware.
In addition, volunteers played an important role by guiding children on where to seek help, how to approach relevant government departments, and how to access available government support and funds related to education, welfare, and child protection.
