Make life safe and healthy during Monsoons

In this activity, children learned about the safety measures and precautions to take during the heavy monsoon season. Recently, Pakistan has entered a period of intense rainfall, leading to floods and the spread of infections in many areas. In response to this situation, our volunteers and children decided that how to stay safe and protect themselves and others during such emergencies.

Key Lessons from the Activity

The children were learned important lessons about staying safe and healthy during the rainy season. They learned that storing standing water can lead to the spread of mosquitoes, which can cause diseases like malaria and dengue. The volunteers explained how keeping their surroundings clean helps prevent infections and keeps the environment safe. Children also learned to stay away from electric poles, open wires, and flooded areas to avoid accidents.

Learning Today, Staying Safe Tomorrow

This activity played an important role in educating children about health and safety during the rainy season. Lastly, the children were encouraged to help others in case of emergencies by staying calm and informing adults when something goes wrong. These lessons helped raise awareness and taught the children how to protect themselves and their community.
