Summerhill Festival of Childhood<\/h3>\n

The Summerhill Festival<\/a> was held from 5th<\/sup> to 10th<\/sup> August 2022. A participation slot was reserved for My Identity School. The students of our centers were given an opportunity to interact with the folks at the festival. Tahira and Paul helped with the translations and Marko led the whole meeting from Summerhill Festival.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This conference allowed us to introduce our My Identity project at a large educational platform in front of several experts, students and teachers from around the world. The feedback was amazing as everyone was really happy to see all the students of our centers getting education and opportunities. One Russian attendee also planned to visit our centers during their visit to Pakistan, which would be an honor for our centers.<\/p>\n

In the meeting we also discussed about our financial situation and how funds have been insufficient in past months. Some of the festival attendees also helped our project financially.<\/p>\n

Floods in Pakistan<\/h3>\n

Recently, Pakistan has been hit by severe floods which have led to one third of country to be under water. Fortunately the areas which our centers are located in are currently safe, however the government still has put all the areas under emergency. Our project members want to help all the affected people any way we can by providing tents, food, drinkable water and sanitary pads etc. Anyone who wants to donate kindly contact Marko<\/a>.
