Independence Day Party<\/h3>\n

14th August is one of the most prestigious and celebrated days in Pakistan. It is one of the days when Pakistan became independent from the British rule after more than 200 years. Even though this happened in 1947 which is 73 years ago but still the passion and patriotism runs hot in the blood of citizens of this beautiful country.<\/p>\n

This day brings joy especially among children. They usually celebrate this day by waving the flag of Pakistan through the streets, firing fireworks, making noise and much more.<\/p>\n

The children of our centers also planned to celebrate this day. The kids did all the planning themselves with the help of volunteers. They wore Independence Day stuff with flags. They performed dances on patriotic songs. They also cut the cake to celebrate the 73rd<\/sup> birthday of the country. Finally at the end they had a food party.<\/p>\n

Plans for the future of the Country<\/h3>\n

Through this activity children of all age group had fun and their love for the country also increased. They were asked if someone wants to say something and many of them talked about how they dream to improve the condition of Pakistan and they expressed their love for the nation.<\/p>\n
