Children on the Computer Centers with Covid-19 Safety Precautions<\/strong><\/h3>\n

After two weeks of having the centers closed, the children started to return to the centers and started normal learning on computers and sharing with each other.<\/p>\n

They are also learning and implementing safety measures to be safe from this virus.<\/p>\n

Children keep one meter distance and a mask on their face during the classroom time on the computers.<\/p>\n

In addition to learning Urdu and English languages, the students are watching lots of videos about professions on YouTube according to their interest (make up, hair dressing and hair cutting styles, painting, typing, paper craft, reusing of waste stuff, gardening, mobile repairing and sports skills).<\/span><\/p>\n

Women of the Sewing Center are also helping children to sew cloth masks so that after the day they can wash them for the next day.<\/p>\n

Children also gave these masks to their families and local relatives.<\/p>\n

Two women also got an order from the Market for the handmade masks to be sold. This is very good for our Sewing Center. By sewing (fiver hundred masks) they will earn some money for their family’s nourishment.<\/p>\n

For the further future, we are planning to launch a grand project to support the children afther they leave the centers. Project’s name is Skillful Democratic Education – Learn and Earn for Family Support. The idea is to offer professional studies and internships so that our students can be employed or start their own businesses as soon as they feel ready.<\/p>\n
