The past few weeks have been the practical demonstration of what our centres stand for which is learning skills to be utilized in real life. This is what happened as one of our students brought to the centre his broken bicycle.
The students were trying to help their mate fix his bicycle and they came up with the idea of learning how to fix the bicycle using the help of internet. This led to them being able to not only fix the bike but also learn about different parts of the bicycle and how to maintain one and avoid further problems.
Students were very enthusiastic to be able to work practically. This was a great demonstration of teamwork, coordination, cognitive skills etc. In future we plan to continue to provide students with different scenarios where they would use the help of internet to solve the problem they face and come up with solutions as a team.
